We had a nice quiet Christmas at home. Alex loved the tree. He frequently pointed to the star on the tree saying, "Look! There's the Christmas Star!" (We didn't put up the tree until Christmas Eve after the kids were in bed.) Today Alex and Ethan are enjoying their Christmas presents. Alex is very excited to have his new train, Percy, and Ethan loves his "pound a ball" toy. We hope all of you had a very happy day too!

Sounds fun! Lizzy got some new Thomas stuff this Christmas too... it was her favorite thing.
Yeah, the blonde highlights really come out when we use a flash. Sometimes his hair even looks red. Most of the time it looks light brown. No one in our families has that color hair but Ethan does look a lot like my dad. My dad has light red hair. You can see Ethan w/ my dad in the May 31, 2009 blog entry. I think Ethan looks even more like my dad now.
