Yesterday I had an appointment with my midwife. We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! Hurray! I'm hoping that I will feel the baby move before the next appointment. That's REALLY fun!
Sure unless it makes your nauseous. UGH! I hated it when that would happen. Worst feeling in the world. Looks like things are coming along well. How do you like Susanne?
I love Susanne! She was funny at this appointment. She came in and said: "Was that your weight on the scale?" I said yeah. She said "You lost some weight. What's going on?" I simply said "I'm fat. I lose weight during pregnancy." I promised her that I wasn't starving myself. I'm eating all the time. I also let her know that I lost 25 lbs with Alex and I didn't exercise until the last couple months. I'm exercising almost every day now so I may lose more weight this time. She said "ok" but I wonder what else she was thinking. She had a funny look on her face.
The first kicks are so fun - it's the later kicks when they're nice and big and can reach your ribs and bladder simultaneously... yowch! I'm at 34 weeks now, so I'm really feeling the pain! However, this baby seems smaller than my first, or maybe she's just lower... whichever it is, she's not as painful a kicker as Lizzy was, but she seems to kick a lot more often.
