Potty Training

Alex is now potty trained! It took us about a week. He is still having a hard time with night time accidents but he doesn't have nap time or daytime accidents. I am so glad we don't have to buy diapers for him anymore! I'm kind of sad though. Now that I'm not changing his diapers it just reaffirms the fact that he's not my baby anymore. (sniff) Good thing I'm having another one right? :) We highly recommend the potty training system we used! You can find it on 3daypottytraining.com. If we would have done exactly what it told us to do, it would have taken less than a week to potty train Alex. Oh well, you live and learn, right?

Congrats! And he's not even 2 yet. I'm truly impressed. I know what you mean about them growing up though. It has happened so fast.

Wow, I'll have to try it with Lizzy now! When is Alex's birthday? Lizzy will be 2 in November.

Alex's birthday is October 4th. According to 3daypottytraining.com any normal healthy child can be potty trained at 22 months of age. It's always best to potty train them before they reach stage when they are too independent and no longer want to do what you want.

Uh oh - Lizzy is already independent like that! She is her father's daughter.
