OK, I know that people say that newborns don't smile. They say that it's just gas when a baby looks like he or she is smiling. Well, I don't care what people say. Last night I was holding Ethan while he was sleeping. He opened his eyes and looked at me. I smiled at him and he gave me a big beautiful wide-eyed smile in return. There have been other times when I have held him while he was sleeping. I'd start stroking his hair and he'd smile a little. He is such a joy! Anyway, here are a few pictures from earlier today. Ethan was actually awake for an entire hour!
