My First Baby

I was tagged by Candice. Sorry it took so long for me to get around to it. If you are a mom, consider yourself tagged if you want. :)

1. Were you married at the time? Yes, for almost 3 years

2. What were your reactions when you found out you were pregnant? Very surprised but also very happy.

3. How old were you? 25 when I got pregnant, 26 when I had him

4. How did you find out you were pregnant? pregnancy test

5. Who did you tell first? Joseph, of course!

6. Did you want to find out the sex? Yes, I like being prepared.

7. Due date? October 4th

8. Did you deliver early or late? Neither! He came on his due date.

9. Were you sick? Yes, for all but one month of the pregnancy.

10. What did you crave? Nothing for the first 5 months. After that I craved shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp!!!

11. Who irritated you the most? Real Estate agents. (Candice and Amy would know why) ;)

12. What was your first child's sex? boy

13. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? None. I lost a bunch of weight at first and then I gained it back in the last 2 months. After I had my baby I weighed 25 lbs less than when I had conceived.

14. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? My blood pressure was a bit elevated at the very end and of course I was really sick but nothing really serious.

15. Where did you give birth? Orem Community Hospital

16. How many hours were you in labor? 36 hours (no, I'm not kidding)

17. Who drove you to the hospital? Joseph

18. Did you take medicine to ease the pain? Yes, I got an epidural

19. How much did your child weigh? 7 lbs 2 oz

20. Did your child have any complications? Yes, I had an allergic reaction to the epidural which caused fetal distress and landed Alex in the NICU for 8 days

21. What did you name him/her? Alexander James

22. How old is your first born today? 2 years, 3 months and 2 weeks old

23. Who does your child look like? He looked a lot like me but the older he gets the more he looks like Joseph.
