Ethan is 6 months old today! Can you believe it? He is quite busy these days! He's been able to sit up for a couple of weeks now. He sort of skipped the stage where he held himself up with his arms. Ethan practices consonants all day. He is pretty good at "B" "D" and "T" and he's having fun trying to make the "F" sound. Yesterday it sounded like he said "brat" but Alex informed me that he really said "bread." That made me feel better because I'm fairly certain that have never said the word "brat" around my kids. :) (I know Ethan didn't actually say a word. It was still cute though.)
For the past week or so, Ethan has been able to move around pretty well. I wish I had gotten a video of it because it was pretty darn funny looking. Well, this morning he figured out how to scoot and his speed doubled! When Alex started crawling, we never really needed to worry about what was around him. He was simply not interested in anything but his toys. Ethan is interested in everything except his toys! He chews on our shoes, the furniture, Alex's toys, you name it (unless you named one of Ethan's toys)!
Probably the cutest thing that Ethan does now is give kisses! He will pull our faces to his and he will lovingly put his open mouth to our cheeks, noses and chins. Then he'll pull away with a big smile on his face, leaving a huge stream of drool! Isn't he absolutely delightful? I totally love my baby!

Aw, look how cute he is! Maybe he really did say a word... you never know! Cute stuff.
I'm jealous! Tingen hasn't figured out the kisses thing yet, but he loves getting them! Ethan sure is a growing cutie pie!
