Getting Fixed

The day has finally come! Tomorrow I'm going to get my heart fixed! For anyone who doesn't know, I have Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. My heart has extra electrical pathways. When my heart occasionally uses those extra pathways, my heart-rate goes from a normal rate of 60 beats per minute to around 180. That's right! It will beat about 3 times faster than normal. It's not a pleasant experience. Even when I'm not in a full blown attack my heart does not beat properly which makes me feel pretty tired all the time. My cardiologist will basically disable the extra pathways. I'm not looking forward to the procedure but I sure am looking forward to having a lot more energy! I check in to Timpanogos Hospital at 6 am tomorrow morning. My procedure will begin between 7 and 8 am and will last 3 to 6 hours. We will keep you all posted on how it goes. Thank you all for your prayers and support! We appreciate it!
