My Little Palaeobatrachus

Happy Halloween everyone! This is Alex's first year dressing up in a costume and going trick-or-treating. A good friend of mine gave us this costume so I figured, why not? When I first asked Alex if he would like to go as a frog like the frog on Word World he said yes. When we got the costume he said he did not want to go as a frog like the one on Word World. He was incredibly adamant about it too. Since we already had the costume I had to rethink my approach. I quickly remembered that we recently watched an episode of Dinosaur Train that talked about prehistoric frogs. I asked Alex if he wanted to go as a Palaeobatrachus from Dinosaur Train. He very enthusiastically said yes. So here are a couple of pictures of Alex as a Palaeobatrachus. Just so you know that I'm not making this up, you can read about the Palaeobatrachus here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palaeobatrachus

Well, that's better than talking him out of wanting to be a butterfly! Happy Halloween!

Very creative. Sometimes you have to be that way with kids. I hope he had a blast trick or treating. Sorry I have been a terrible friend lately I am wondering if life will ever settle down just long enough for me to get more than 3 hours of sleep! Here's to hope.
