Alex teaches us phonics
One of Alex's favorite shows is Super Why. On Super Why, one of the characters teaches phonics. For example, she will say, "Wall is an 'all' word. I just love 'all' words!" Well, tonight at dinner Alex said "crap." While Joseph and I were thinking in our heads, "ok, we really need to stop saying that word in front of the kids" we tried to explain to Alex that it wasn't a nice word to say. Alex said, "Why? 'Crap' is an 'ap' word... like 'nap'." I don't think me laughing helped get our point across. Oh well.
