Alex weighs 24.69 pounds which puts him in the 12th percentile. This is the first time that he's been above the 10th percentile range. His height is 34 inches which puts him in the 40th percentile. We're thrilled about this because he has always been in the 20th percentile range. His head circumference is 19.25 inches which puts him at almost 57th percentile. His head has always been the biggest thing about him.
His ear infection has finally gone away but there is a lot of pressure in his ears due his sinus infection which has gotten much worse. We are now on our 4th round of antibiotics. It better work. The poor kid isn't getting enough sleep (which means Joseph and I aren't either).
According to the Ages & Stages questionnaire, Alex is well above average in communication skills (no surprise there) and gross motor skills. He's slightly above average in everything else. I kind of think those questionnaires are rather subjective but it makes the doctor happy so I'll keep filling them out.
So other than the sinus infection that's been going on for over a month, Alex is a physically and mentally healthy 2 year old. Yea!

Lizzy has her 2 year appointment next month. My doctor never has us fill out a questionnaire about Lizzy. They just give us a sheet about what to expect at her age, and what milestones she should be hitting.
oh my goodness! You poor little family. I hope the little one recovers quickly. It's bad when mom is sick. It's worse when Dad is sick. It feels like your life is over when your little one is sick with the lack of sleep, the moods and just watching them suffer!
Hope he feels better soon :)
oh, and yeah. I think the questionnaire's are not completely accurate, but it's fun to do the different activities with Britton.
